This year, The Hospital Research Foundation Group is turning 60!
This is an incredible milestone that has only been possible thanks to the continuous trust, loyalty and commitment of our generous supporters.
Your support of the Hospital Research Foundation Home Lottery goes directly to funding life-changing medical research, hospital care and community healthcare initiatives delivered through the Group.
This support spans more than 60 areas of disease and illness across all public hospitals and communities in South Australia, and beyond.
South Australia has always punched above its weight in medical breakthroughs and it was 60 years ago, in 1965, that the Queen Elizabeth Hospital performed the southern hemisphere’s first ever live kidney transplant – which sowed the seed for The Hospital Research Foundation Group to be born.
And we have been changing lives ever since.
Father of four Jeff Miles is a recent kidney transplant recipient – benefitting from the research that was sown all those years ago.
“I’m forever grateful for everything now – the little things you don’t even think about,” Jeff says.
Your Home Lottery tickets directly support this groundbreaking work.
Thank you for changing lives.
